EXPRESS

Express to me was created for a powerful working woman. Growing up, I would see my mom in these power suits that she purchased from express and when I had the opportunity to be part of their team, it was an experience that I was eager to have.

Express is a larger company where I was able to be part of a corporate environment and learn how to communicate with different parts of the company in order to function as a whole.

This experience taught me how to design in my own way but to also make it marketable and sellable. At the end of my internship, I createda final project that was presented to the VP of womens wear.

My perspective incorporated fashion illustration back into the corporate industry because I felt with every corporate fashion competing with each other, personality was being lost in the process.
By inserting illustration as a print as well as an overall marketing tactic, I was able to showcase how a corporate brand can stand out from the rest.
